The more we become set in our ways and resistant to change, small tweaks will produce massive change (if we are willing to make them.)
For me, going for a walk as soon as I get out of bed has been a game changer. It’s important that you don’t stew in bed playing on your phone, snooze or even make breakfast. These are obstacles that will make it less likely you will follow through.
Make it the first thing you do. It can be as little as 10 minutes, just get out and get moving. Get the blood flowing, fresh air in your lungs and shake the stiffness from your tired body.
If it’s too dark, cold or raining, do it inside your house. Don’t let yourself make excuses for something that can be done anywhere and is super simple. This is game changer #1.
